And here we are, We Love NY !!

So, we are finally in the USA. It took 2 days of travelling.. First the American Airlines plane got some "technical problems". Radio was not working, fuel pump was not working.. and the mood of the ground personell, was definitely OUT OF ORDER !!

So after a few hours at Malpensa they cancelled our monday morning flight and... they sent us to a hotel near the airport.

There were people waiting for 3 days trying to get to Miami and NY and we kind of start worrying our trip would never get a start.

In the morning finally AA took off and our butt landed in JFK airport at noon!!! 

We took our rental car and made our way to downtown Manhattan and this is something that I strongly advice NOT to do if you have never been to the city of lights before.  So we took off and moved to the house of a good frined of ours in New Paltz getting ready for the coming trip.

A load of rain and tons of walking followed so here we go .. a few pictures from the first two days while waiting for Nino and Vito.
